When you click Start Capture, the browser asks you to share a tab or screen. Check "Share audio" to include the audio track. Only the audio is recorded.
System audio recording works in Chrome and Edge on desktop. Firefox and Safari do not currently support the getDisplayMedia audio capture API.
The browser API requires a screen or tab selection to capture audio. The video is discarded — only the audio track is recorded.
