Most online tools ask you to upload something private, wait, then trust an unknown server to delete it afterward. We thought that was a strange trade. So we built the alternative.
Our story
Built from a stack of small frustrations.
Compress an image, and half the internet wants your email first. Convert a PDF, and the file gets shuttled across three continents before it comes back to you. Format some JSON, and a banner ad follows you around for a week.
None of that is necessary. Browsers today can crunch images, parse documents, render PDFs, and run entire audio pipelines without ever calling home. The tech was there. The honesty wasn’t.
So we started building — one tool at a time — a toolkit that does the work where the work belongs: on your machine, in your browser, in front of you.

Instant beats impressive
The best interface is the one that gets out of your way. No account gate. No modal tour. Land, use, leave. If a tool takes more than a second to load, we treat it like a bug.
Copy that respects you
No dark patterns. No inflated tool counts. No pop-ups asking you to rate us. If we can't earn the click with the product, we don't want the click.
Free forever means forever
Every core tool stays free. Ads keep the lights on. Pro tools — the ones that cost us GPU time — are a subscription. That's the whole model.

The napkin sketch
One frustrated afternoon uploading a PDF to five different sketchy websites to convert a single page. The idea: what if a single, honest toolkit just did the job — locally?

The first tools
We started with the ones we personally used weekly: JSON formatter, image converter, QR generator, PDF splitter. Each written from scratch to run without a server.

Public launch
A full toolkit across developer, design, PDF, audio, and SEO categories. Pro AI tools opt-in behind a subscription. Everything else, free.
