Which audio formats can I trim?+
You can trim MP3, WAV, OGG, AAC, FLAC, and WebM files. The output format matches your input by default, or you can choose a different one before exporting.
Can I make multiple cuts in a single file?+
The trimmer lets you select one contiguous region per pass. To make multiple cuts, export the first trim and then re-upload the result to trim again.
Is the trimming done on my device?+
Yes. All processing runs in your browser using WebAssembly. Your audio never leaves your device and nothing is uploaded to any server.
Does trimming reduce audio quality?+
Trimming a lossless format like WAV or FLAC is completely lossless. Trimming a lossy format re-encodes only the trimmed segment, so quality loss is negligible.
Can I preview the selection before exporting?+
Yes. Use the play button to listen to just the selected region so you can fine-tune the start and end points before downloading.
