The equalizer provides bands spanning the full audible spectrum from 20 Hz (sub-bass) to 20 kHz (high treble). You can boost or cut each band independently.
Are there any presets available?+
Yes. Common presets include Bass Boost, Treble Boost, Vocal Clarity, Flat, and genre-specific curves like Rock or Jazz. You can also save your own custom presets.
Can I use the equalizer to reduce background hum?+
A parametric EQ can help reduce specific frequencies like 50/60 Hz electrical hum. For broadband noise, the AI-powered Noise Removal tool will produce better results.
Does EQ processing degrade audio quality?+
Minimal. The Web Audio API applies EQ using high-quality biquad filters. Extreme boosts can introduce clipping, but the tool warns you and offers auto-gain compensation.
